Abstract Needle Felted Art LIMITED

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Limited Capacity seats available

In this 6 hour workshop you will create 4 small abstract works of needle felted art.  Each will be 4 inches square.

From simple to complex, it’s your choice. We will begin by creating one together as a group, which will allow novices to learn the basics of needle felting. The remaining 3 will be your own designs. All 4 will be your own choice of colors. We will have 63 colors of roving to choose from. The supplies will include 4 pre-stretched canvases for you to mount your work on as well as a miniature wooden easel. Then you can display them in your own rotating exhibit.

Needle felting uses a barbed needle to embed wool roving through a background fabric. It’s possible to achieve paint-like effects with wool and a needle. This workshop is appropriate for all levels of needle felters, as well as all level of artists. I’ll have examples of abstract art and suggestions to get you going.

Experience Level:  novice to expert
