Learn traditional methods of Fair Isle knitting while you knit a headband.

Not all 2 color stranded work is Fair Isle.  Long ago and far away on a small island off the northern coast of Scotland lived some knitters who raised the bar on 2 color stranded work.  Travel back in time with me to learn about how and why they developed their particular techniques for this important work.  Learn how their techniques helped to make the work go faster and easier while you knit a head band. Continental knitting, corrugated ribbing, catching floats will all be covered as well as the history of Fair Isle Knitting.
