Are you into instant gratification? Do you love the feeling of accomplishment when finishing a small project? Have you thought about learning how to weave but it seemed too complicated and takes up too much space? Looking for the perfect project for that small amount of special yarn you have in your stash? If you answered yes to any of these questions, we have the class for you!

The Zoom Loom by Schacht is a Pin Style loom made especially for easy, on-the-go weaving projects that anyone can do in their spare time with their random ends of yarn. Throughout this class we will teach you everything you need to know to use the Zoom Loom; from selecting what yarns work best, to quick techniques for basic and more intricate woven patterns, all the way to joining your individual woven blocks together to make afghan, pillows, baskets, works of art… the possibilities are endless!

If you have yarn ends left from special projects and just can't find the perfect use for them, this weaving style is for you. And hand spinners will love how far small lengths of your special yarn will go to create stunning blocks for building FAB projects. By the time you leave we’ll have you using those precious bits of leftover yarn from your stash to make woven blocks for all kinds of projects!

  • Learn the basic Zoom Loom square
  • Learn more intricate patterns for stunning results
  • Learn joining techniques for creating larger projects
Skills Required: No previous experience with weaving is necessary. This is a beginner class.

Please note:  This workshop will be held in a heated tent.
