2016 NY Sheep and Wool Festival

Gina Rockenwagner is a Brooklyn-based knit designer, quilt maker, and colour-obsessed artist.  As a professional knit designer in the fashion industry, she has travelled extensively in Peru working with fair trade knitting co-ops and dye houses.  She recently launched her first collection of ethically made, ready to wear knit goods under the label Poppy + Pima.  When not making things she can generally be found working out, rewarding herself with food, cooking, studying to achieve fluency in Spanish and appreciating pop culture.                                   Find her at ginarockenwagner.com and poppyandpima.com.
