Come join Bobbie on her travels, from country to country - from Lerwick to Land's End.  Meet the charming, hardworking people and the talented knitters she met along the way.                                                                                                 Bobbie shares with you stories, memories and unique knitting techniques she acquired along her Journey, to understand the "engineering of sweaters."  
Her "thoughts" and "schools" at the end of each chapter, highlight unique knitting stitches and techniques of the respective countries.  It is an authentic history, providing insight into early knitting and its necessity of the times.
