Author, knitwear designer, and regular Pom Pom contributor Fiona Alice will be speaking about her knitting journey and her book Take Heart, published by Pom Pom Press in November 2015. Take Heart is a collection of 11 knitting patterns, tracing Fiona's path across the Atlantic from her hometown in Nova Scotia, to where she now resides in London, all set to the stunning Welsh seaside as the backdrop.

Fiona Alice is a knitware designer from Nova Scotia, Canada, currently living in London, UK. After studying other textile mediums at Nova Scotia College of Art and Design University she worked in a local yarn shop that inspired her to pursue knitting full-time.  She published her first book last winter, Take Heart: A Transatlantic Knitting Journey, a collection of knitted accessories published by Pom Pom Press.  fionaalice.com
