I love going from the sheep’s back to my back! I keep a Shetland sheep flock that runs from 25-60 depending on the time of year on my 120 acre farm. I love every step of the fiber process from feeding and birthing the sheep, through fiber prep and completion of a project, and even the smell of wet dirty fleece. Wearing wool is like wearing a hug! I love sharing the skills and knowledge I have gained from previous teachers, experience, books and generous fiber people I have met. I love shearing my sheep, making one big project a year, spinning, and teaching. And I love LEARNING!!!!
